She told me I needed to call this other company at 888-723-9201 and speak to Alex Walker. When I spoke to Alex she had my full name, social security number, address and direct line to me at my job. She told me I needed to pay right away over the phone.
I did have a credit card with the company that they referred too but I paid it in full and there’s nothing on my credit report about this debt. They have been calling several times a day and leaving messages along with calls to my work. I believe they are a complete fraud and a scam.
When you call the 940 number they answer the phone with a few different names, Collection Agency and Levy and Cohen are two of them. The 888 number says Levy and Cohen. Alex is the one I talked to who is supposedly from Levy & Cohen, the one who read me my social and dob and address. She called from another number, 202-480-9143, twice and left me voicemails to call them.
I’ve tried googling but nothing comes up except a Yelp on the California one that says they were getting scam calls and switching the name back and forth between Levy & Cohen and premium legal support.
Also the lady, Jennifer, called from the 940 number and said she was with PLS, Premium Legal Support. I searched Jennifer’s number on spokeo and it says the Carrier is bandwidth.com, which is an app. When searching the 202 number it says DC and is with bandwidth.com as well.
Jennifer called again yesterday April 23, 2021 and yelled at me when I told her I believed they were a fraudulent company and that I wouldn’t be paying them anything.
