I contacted Milton’s Family Farms in Texas, I live in North Carolina. I was going to purchase a teacup piglet from Milton‘s Family Farms. I selected the piglet. I paid $370 for the picket and $150 shipping fee. The total was $520.00. The told me they only accept Apple Pay, Zelle, or Cash App. I have never used any of these so I picked Apple Pay because I thought it would be safer. I even made the man send me a copy of his drivers license. I sent them the payment and very shortly he sent me a receipt to sign stating everything was correct then sene me a paid receipt showing I paid the $520.00 and that I owed a 0.00 balance. The man told me that the piglet would be picked up very shortly from their business and shipped overnight and with arrive at my house the next day. A little while later, I got a tracking number with Global Express Shippers. At that point, I thought everything was going smoothly unfortunately, later that night I got an email from global express shippers stating that they had my pig in Mississippi and realized that it wasn’t insured and would not deliver the pig unless I sent them a $250 insurance fee I called and talk to the guy at Milton’s. He was no help. He told me to deal with the car the shipping carrier, tried to talk to the shipping carrier. The Global Express Shippers are still contacting me saying that they are still waiting for the shipment fee payment. I talked to the guy from Milton Family Farms today, and nothing is being done. I told him you know I paid for my piglet and I paid for the shipping and the guy from Milton‘s said well he didn’t know they had an insurance fee and I explained I didn’t either but I paid the shipping fee to you told me I owed to get it shipped to me. The guy that I have been speaking with from a Milton Family Farms by calls, by texts and by emails will give me no information as to who owns Milton‘s Family Farms, he refuses let me speak to anyone else and he refuses to get even give a message to the owner . So I told him you should pay the shipping or you should refund me my money and he’s not willing to give me any contact to who owns Milton‘s Family Farms or give me a refund and he’s not willing to let the corporation pay the 250 to so I can get my pig. I’ve just been scammed out of $520.00. Please, please I beg you to help me. $520.00 was a lot of money but I did it for my 4 year old granddaughter. Milton’s Family Farms has a website and a Facebook page. I never thought I’d be stupid and gullible enough to fall for a scam.,but all info and signs are pointing that way.
