This is an alleged "Notice of Continuation/New Order Offer" for Science News at $79.95 a year. I have been warned by Science News that fake offers for renewals are being mailed to people and this is one. The offer of $79.95 per year is grossly in excess of an actual subscription. You can get an annual subscription for $50 from Science News, and I have a two year subscription for which I paid $90.

In addition, there is an "option" to pay an installment of $39.98, but no where does the form state for how long the alleged subscription would be - a month? A quarter? Science News does not have less than one year subscriptions, so the relationship of this "offer" to any real subscription is not credible. Clearly a rip off.

And to top it all off, the back of the form states to "direct all questions to customer service at the phone number on the front." But there is no phone number anywhere on the form, front or back!

Consumer received invoice from company selling People Magazine. Total amount requested was $109.95 for (1) year. the bill stated "Thank You! Your Prompt Attention is Appreciated . . Notice of Continuation/New Order Offer". Consumer has never done business with this company.

I received an offer in the mail from what looked like People Magazine. I ordered in June and sent the payment to the address provided. I called People in July to find out when the subscription would start and they told me that they are not associated with Pacific Magazine Billing. They said this is a scam. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. It goes straight to voice mail.

We were sent a fake invoice for Woman's World Magazine by this organization. The renewal price was 3 times the renewal price directly from Woman's World. How many people are duped into believing this is a legitimate billing. It is sad that this type of operation is allowed to continue in operation.
