On July 20th 2023 I received a text from 202-286-8999 about a job with Prospect Medical Holdings from my resume on Career Builders for a Customer Service Representative I was asked to go to Team Player to speak to Michael G. Segal; whom I could tell was from the country of India by his syntax. After an "interview," he asked me to wait for 10–15 minutes for an answer on whether I had the job or not. I was hired. I was asked for my full name, name of my bank, address, and email. If, I was open to allow them to send me a check to buy a computer and software; at first, "Mike" said that they'd send me a check FedEx and I asked for an offer letter. "Mike" then said that I'd speak to his secretary for onboarding instructions, 7/21/2023 at 8:00 AM. Friday, Mike was online at 8 am with the news that "he spoke to the Board of Directors" and he couldn't send a check via FedEx, but, through my email address, which I had to reverify to "Mike." and I was to print the check and deposit it into my checking account - then send him an email of my of the confirmation of my email address - then he wanted me to send the confirmation via Team Messenger. Now, the salary for this job was $37 dollars an hour; 20 dollars an hour during training 4 hours a day for 1 week. I have over 30 years experience, so, no training class is 4 hours a day for a week. Second warning. First, was the check. I couldn't print the check and let them know..Mike asked me was I near a library or business center to print the check and he'd hold. While he w[censored]ding, I researched the name of the company - J-Quint LLC, and the address on the check... P.O Box 1865 Lake City, FL 32056 found that the company was a ********** in Florida;the signature on the check was a scribble. When I came back, online and told "Mike" about what I discovered, and his response was, "What business is this of yours?" And that says it all. "Mike" never emailed me a confirmation of the position and salary, never sent me an application to fill out a job application, no reference check et al. Beware!
