I just got the same thing today via group text. I was in at first until they gave me the whole story about sending $4500 to a "decal specialist" so I told them I didn't want to do it but a check may still be coming in the mail. I will NOT be cashing it.

They wanted me to advertise for them and sent me a check which I put in my bank but didn't give them any money thank God. It was for 5500$ saying they would paye $1000 a week for advertising

Scam to get money thru promises of a job. First they text and email which states you have been qualified for working for Polard Springs by putting an advertisement on your car. David Miller states they will send you a check for the first week of $500.00 thru the mail. The email further states that he will also send you enough funds to pay for the person who installs the advertisement on your car. Deposit the check take your $500 the reset will be going to the specialist for his/her services. Further instructions will be provided once you have confirmed receipt of the email. Some how he has gotten a hold of personal information regarding job searches or auto insurance information.

The phone number the text is coming from is 281-675-2388. Thank you, hope you can shut him down.
