I matched with a guy named Miguel through Coffee Meets Bagel. His profile said he is a Urologist but currently in Chicago for 6 weeks. He is based in Daly City, California. We chatted for a week or two and then he said he is really into investing in Bitcoins. He enticed me to Polaris Investment Inc and said its ROI is 25%. After chatting for another week back to get to know him much better, I trusted him and invested ~$3000 to Polaris Investment Inc. Along the way, there were lots of red flags: PII's phone number is void, website is buggy, none of the team members has a linkedin page, no physical address on their website, no contract signing. So I decided to cancel my membership, which is in the most expensive package. Since I haven't sent them the remaining balance, which is $7000, they won't allow me to cancel at all but took all my investment away. I firmly believe Miguel is the person behind it (no last name, doesn't want to do video calls to verify his identity, deleted his profile after we matched).
