Called asking for me, I said, " This is Xxxx", went on to say they were asking to send a one time donation for police officers recovery fund, if sent an envelope would I donate, I said I would consider it, they could send an envelope. He then said, so it's ok to send for a bronze level donation of 25$ and I said yes and another person cut in and said "I got it" , he then transferred me to someone that couldnt speak English who I immediately accused of a scam and he hung up on me.

Several times I received calls from the number listed above. No message was left if I didn't answer the phone. When I did finally answer they claimed to be from the Police Officers Association. When I asked a question I guess to them seemed a problem they hung up on me. He kept talking like he was reading from a piece of paper. When I call the number, the guy simply says hello not that he is with the Police Officers Association. I have experienced this last year and it sounded like the same guys voice. Last year they asked for a donation. I just don't remember if it was the same phone number. I know from knowing Police Officers that this is not how they operate so I didn't fall for it. I didn't give them a chance to ask for money they knew I was on to them probably. Just want to report this number so others do not fall for it.
