I accidentally slid button to answer phone using it to look up something! I usually DO NOT answer unknown phone calls! Pleasant male said calling for support for Police & Troopers, their families, etc, etc…I do feel sorry for the Policemen, sure I’ll donate, one of 3 amts ($50) great, I’ll transfer to ? who will take down information. This happened so fast!!! Gave card information, needed address, specifically asked where does this donation go, was told can help all over country, but this is in Fl. Web site? Again quickly..WWW.Police,Troopers Assoc. She’ll mail receipt, said no send to my email (sooo stupid) Thanks very much, she did ask my profession, said retired. After 2nd thoughts, I called the number where call came from, something about donations, not clear what was said. Couldn’t find web site in any those names. Called my credit card company, spoke to fraud dept, unfortunately cannot take amt off since I voluntarily donated. WHAT they can do is NOT allow any charges from these people in future. Email received showed, R P*POLICE AND TROOPLASVEGAS NV, $50. Posted 04-28-2022.

I can dispute or inquire about this charge using online Inquiry & Dispute Center. ( have not done son yet) looking up phone number is listed in Molina, Fl, landline, could belong to Bright House News Information SVCS, Wirefly Exchange NXX??? (They must supply internet?)

Filed FTC Consumer, report number: 147455679, Attorney General Office, both 04-29-2022. Since then have read numerous bogus collections for Police, advising what to do. I have had fraud filings my IRS, credit cards, so this is very sensitive subject to me. I don’t know why i took that phone call, although short, it did “suck me in” I know better. Now AGAIN, EVERYTHING about me will be traded, sold, given to “who knows what”
