Please do not make any negotiations or agreements with this man. I rented out my place to him starting August of 2023 and it was a complete nightmare. He had his whole family living there and would claim he was never there or at work when I would try to collect rent. He would ignore all my calls and texts and was finally able to evict him this month. He was always lying and saying he didn’t have the money. They left my place a mess, so he owes me 10,000 in back rent and now more with all the damages. I bought all their sob stories because I’m a nice person and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it definitely back fired. Please be aware of him and his family they are all con artists. I feel bad for whoever rents their place out to Angelo or his family. From what I see I am not the first person he scams nor the last!

Angelo is a thief. He wanted to buy a trailer from me that was parked at my cousins house. He met me there one day to look at it and said he wanted it and thay he would call me to meet when he could come and get it so i could get him the title. He ended up showing up without contacting me asking me cousin if he could take the trailer. My cousin called and I told him I didn't have the title and I had re ordered it. Angelo asked if he could take the trailer for half and told me he would meet up with me for the title and would pay me the rest. I am too nice and decided to trust him because he kept begging saying he needed it. Well shame on me for believing him. He ended up never meeting up and always came in with excuses why he couldn't pay. He is a thief and a loser. Karma will get him but I should have look3d him up and seen this stuff first. People beware

Pollo is a con man who steals deposits and does shoddy Asphalt work

He took a $10,000 deposit from me and never did the work or gave me a refund. After I did some digging later I found out he stole deposits from elderly individuals and ripped off a local farmer when he applied only 3/4" of asphalt to his driveway rather than the 3.5" that he promised. He is a total thief and you should stay clear of him.

Thief! Came by, sold me a job, proceeded to do a substandard job with without killing the weeds, used different materials than he told me he would use, filled in 1 1/2" gaps and holes with material designed for 1/4" cracks. Basically painted thin coat of this cheap cold coating when he assured me he was using hot tar (that's the only reason I hired him)... Don't be fooled by him in the nice truck showing up with wife and kid to appear respectable. everything he did has washed away over the last 2 years. Wasted $3000. He's a thief!

Angelo Pollo has started and closed several companies to hide from his past negative ratings for cheating people out of their deposits and doing substandard work that he refused to repair. One of those previous companies All Pro Pavers previously received a D+ rating from the ScamPulse.com with several complaints including that he took a deposit from an elderly man and never finished the work.

After I gave him a $10,000 deposit for the road to my ranch (he requested a check in his name rather than his then company Pollo Paving & Seal Coating) he later demanded that I give him a cashiers check for the balance when he would arrive to do the work. That set off alarm bells and I decided to visit a few of his past customers. All jobs I saw were shoddy and substandard work including one paved road to a ranch owned by Mr. Llyod in Loveland that was so bad that Lloyd told me the unevenly paved asphalt and exposed aggregate made his road “more bumpy to drive on now than when it was just dirt and gravel”. Pollo promised to repair that job but has not done so for the past four months. Photos of that job are attached.

Pollo evaded three months of requests to return my deposit with multiple excuses including that “he was broke” and only recently returning $2,000 of it when I threatened litigation. He reneged on refunding the balance and we have filed suit and reported the theft of the balance to law enforcement. It is a shame that Pollo has chosen this path, he was a very engaging and convincing salesman but turned out to be just a con man. If he simply backed up his selling skills with good ethics and quality work he could have been a success rather than opening and closing companies for the past ten years leaving behind a trail of angry customers.

I will be happy to furnish ScamPulse.com a copy of my check, contract, photographs of his flawed and unfinished work, phone numbers of other victims of Angelo Pollo and the police report which we filed yesterday with the Boulder County Sheriff's Department.
