Found this website while searching for a Maine c o o n kitten to purchase. Website showed 50% discount making kitten cost $450. Contacted "the breeder" through website to get info about a specific kitten. They responded promptly. We breed dogs and have a questionnaire for potential owners, so when we saw their questionnaire, we felt like these people were a good fit for us. I answered the questions and a few hours later they said that we were approved for Loki(that's the name of the kitten we were trying to get).
They asked for our address, names, phone numbers. They told us the FULL price of the kitten with delivery fee was going to be $650 and Nothing more. So, we paid the $650 for the kitten via Amex gift card because we couldn't use any of the cash transfer apps. Then I get an email from a "pet courier" saying the kitten needed to travel in a thermal crate for its own safety and that would cost me $1499, of which I would get $1450 refunded to me upon delivery of the kitten to my home. I refused to pay the money and contacted the "breeder" immediately about the problem. During all of this, i received multiple photos and a short video of Loki, the kitten I was supposed to get. I asked the person I was dealing with if they could pick up the kitten from the courier and just ship her directly from the airport. I was then told that transfer papers had already been filled out, and the kitten was mine, so they wouldn't be able to do that. And that I needed to travel from Idaho to North Carolina to collect the kitten myself. This kitten came with a 15-day money-back guarantee. But I doubt I will see any of my money back.

I found this website for Maine C o o n kittens, they had positive testimonials and I just lost a cat I had for 14 years. It was my birthday and I decided I wanted to reach out to a Catery about getting a new kitten. They contacted me from this email: [email protected]
We went back and forth via email over the kitten I wanted (listed at $450) and then it would be an additional $200 for travel costs to get her here from North Carolina. They asked me to send it in a $500 payment and then a second payment for $150. I sent the $500 to Zelle contact Darrell Wells attached to phone number 803-250-8023. They later requested the remaining $150 to be sent to William Agyekum attached to email [email protected], I was starting to get nervous when I attempted that Zelle transfer, and it was denied and flagged as a scam.
I mentioned this to them, and they glossed over it and asked me to use CashApp instead. I said multiple times that I wasn’t comfortable doing that and this seemed weird, they gave me CashApp names to try $dre24b $Colemanjennifer1980 and $marsa028 which all felt highly suspicious but honestly, I really wanted a new kitty. I eventually caved and tried to send it, but that was denied and flagged as a scam, and that’s when I knew.
I kept asking questions they never answered, they kept asking for the $150 I refused to send, and then I called them out for being a scam. They said they’d refund me, but I knew that would never happen. I’m disabled and unable to work, $500 is a lot of money to me… I’m hoping to prevent this from happening to other people.

Found Website on Google. Contacted seller through email and also sent text messages. Paid $500 for the kitten and two hundred for shipping. Kitty was supposed to be shipped on Tuesday and arrive at our house Tuesday evening. First excuse, can't ship Kitten until Wednesday. Said the Kitten could not be delivered that they needed money for a special crate. Cost additional $800.00. Then they sent another email can't ship Kitten until you buy temporary health insurance, which was another 900.00. Of course you will get your money back when the kitten arrives to your house. They said they were taking care of the Kitten at a facility until all paperwork was complete. Meanwhile it is now Thursday. We can't ship your Kitten until it has a covid shot. That was the last straw. We told them it was a scam and said we would contact the ScamPulse.com and turn them in. They said we will cancel the transaction and refund you money. They asked what are your account numbers. We told them to use the cash app to return the money. That was how most of the transactions were done. We are still waiting to see if they will return the money.
