I received a message about a job with this company. The gentleman wanted my banking information. He wanted my account numbers & my user name & passwords. He said this was to monitor when they made a deposit in my account they could make sure they I didn't spend the money on things other than to buy equipment for my job. They have made 2 deposits & they want me to go & get Apple gift cards then send him pictures of the gift card & receipt.

Very similar story to this user from Texas except they went right to emailing me the check- I noticed it was fake and called them out on it : “Well they reached out to me saying they found my resume from indeed and they were offering me a position as a data entry analyst paying $25/hr (1st red flag) posing as if they’re selling products for children in the hospital that needed open heart surgery and then informed me they were going to send me a check in the mail which will cover my equipment and that once I receive it and deposit it in my account that I need to pay a vendor to put certain software on the equipment(2nd red flag) and they reached out to let me know that I will be receiving a company phone but they needed my phone provider login so they can add it to my current plan(last red flag). FedEx was supposed to deliver the check in the mail but they canceled the delivery twice so they email me the check and I took it to my bank and they confirmed before deposit it that the check was fake”
