At that time, I was able to get an address and phone number, but not now. They were located in a "vacant lot" in Minnesota, USA.
All the signs of a scam were there. The guy on the phone didn't know what he was talking about. They refused to do a PayPal payment, but wanted me to go to a Walmart and wire them the money. Yea, right!!
There is also no record of them with the AKC.
And, they now have the EXACT same dog, and picture, they had even way back then. As if it has not aged a day. Obviously a stock photo.
PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE ****** !!
Thanks,
G.

I responded to them via their website and they immediately contacted me via my email, and the process of scanning me began. They sent me still images and videos of the puppy and that just made us fall more in love with it.
I kept asking them if they accepted PayPal and they kept responding around the bush over and over again. No matter what I said, they would NOT open up a PayPal account.
Their emails were constructed in poor English grammar, and at times, seemed like they were from two different people. I did manage to talk on the phone with him once, but his accent was so thick I could not understand him.
They finally said I "could" send a PayPal payment to "his wife's" email address ([email protected]), but my PayPal Account would NOT allow the payment to go through. I even called PayPal and got into an argument over it (poor guys)!
So, since they would NOT accept American Express, I tried sending a "direct" credit card payment via my Master Card, but the card company would NOT allow the charge to go through. Frustrated, I called the credit card company, and they said; "We would not allow the charge because the receiving party is in NIGERIA !"
ALARM, ALARM, RED FLAG, bang !!
The proverbial poop had hit the fan! NOW, I "knew" it was a scam.
I looked up their address with Google Map and found it to be a large, vacant lot.
After emailing them and accusing him of a scam, he replied with a long email saying how offended he was. Ha, ha, ha! Yea right!
I emailed him one last time asking him to do a Skype video call with me so I could meet him, his wife, the puppy and it's parents. I also asked him other questions about "assuring" me, in writing, that there would be no additional charges like shipping fees, insurance, crate charges, etc, etc.
I never heard from him again, and two days later, the website was gone.
It is my profound wish that, especially during this Covid-19 crisis, nobody else will be suckered in like this.
Thanks.
