During the process - had many medical questions and requested a liver test be done .He then tried to get more $$ than what the test should have ran - of which I am very familiar with a general amount it should be. After calling him out and wanting a copy of results and a copy of vet receipt- he tried giving me paper work with no heading plus things just didn’t set right with me. He then tried to convince me that a Zelle payment to Bridget Dunnavant was a payment to the vets office so that I would reimburse. When I told him that those were unacceptable- & would not pay anything until I had something acceptable - He then miraculously sent me basically the exact same test result page - now with a typed heading at the top along with a forged veterinarian signature at the bottom. Prior to this I had asked him what vet he used for the shots and test. He informed me that it was Animal Clinic of Boardwalk Square. I proceeded to look them up and called them ( 816-746-1333 ) After talking to the girl on the phone - we determined that he had never brought any dogs in - nor that she could determine - no liver tests had been conducted that week to her knowledge, When I called him out on it all - he had numerous excuses that made no sense. I told him best to just end conversation & to just refund me my $200 ( which I knew was a lost cause ) - He then said he was going to ship the dog ( which originally I told him that I would not do that to a dog ) that he had to go visit his sick mother. I accused him of being a scammer and that there prob wasn’t even a real puppy. I had seized answering him and then out of the blue he sends me a message with a tracking number implying that he was shipping the dog to me in Springfield IL. Then I got another regular text as if from Horizontranslogistics from the phone # 518 722-4715 - with the tracking number & a link to the shipping business. When I opened the page some things just triggered a red flag to me - for one it said that the carrier would be USPS & was surprised - because although they will ship chickens and turkeys they will not ship cats or Dogs.
It said the dog was to be delivered today. ( 9-15-23 ).Asking myself “Why would he go to this extent when I had already said just refund my money and end the conversation.
And then of course coming to the conclusion all of that appeared to be even a scam as well. I did send a Zelle request to him for $200 ( which I know is useless but didn’t have anything to lose.
There were so many little things - ALSO - on the FaceBook page - there is a name of James Spenser who shows as also being an Adnin. His name shows up a lot in comments urging people to call Mickey Jeo when they show any interest in the pups
The only personal info he got of mine is
Name / address / email / phone #
I did take screen shots of everything - literally the entire conversation. (Over the course of 3 days ). . . To all paperwork he tried to pass off - to the fake delivery/ transport business.
Should anyone be interested. Because there are so many screenshots - it would be an enormous number - but insightful.
