attempted to sell an item on Poshmark, was told that the payment was on hold since my account needed to be secured for the safety of the buyer - was told that i needed to buy certain Gift cards to load on my account to get my account verified so that I would be paid. Sent the item to the fake buyer and now have lost my item along with $1300

The seller contacted me offering to buy a pair of eyeglasses from me if I would make a purchase from them. With Poshmark being such a tough market to sell on I thought I would be nice and help the seller out so I made a purchase and never heard from the seller again regardless of several attempts to contact them. So I decided to just return the items for a refund. I requested a return through Poshmark 7 days ago and they have done nothing but give me a run around. They won't refund my money until the seller gets the items back but they haven't sent me the shipping label to return the items. They say they can't guarantee a refund unless they provide the label. I'm getting the impression that Poshmark themselves are running scams.

They keep saying "the case is in review" which is only supposed to take 3 days. It's been a week now

There are multiple items on this website that “are for sale”. When I “purchased” the items, my credit card was charged and then I receive an email stating that the order was canceled and my credit card was never charged.

Poshmark.com is running a scam where they charge a CC, but the product is never received.
