Posing as Bed Bath and Beyond Reports & Reviews (5)

My mom seen an ad on FB claiming to be the Closeout sale for Bed Bath and Beyond. She ordered a couple things cuz she is 92 and on a very strict budget and things were such a good deal. She had no idea anything was wrong till Sat when she went to use her debit card and all that was in her account was $32. There was $800 missisng. She is in the middle of trying to get her money back from back thru fraud services.

A pop-up came up on my iPad indicating Bed Bath and Beyond was going out of business and all merchandise was being sold at low prices. The Bed Bath and Beyond logo appeared to be authentic, so I placed the first order and received an order confirmation and shipping email with a tracking number. I thought it was legit so I shopped again and received the same emails. When I started thinking it was a scam, I tried to get more info from the website and it was no longer available.

I saw the ad online from some pop-up. They claimed to be a 3rd Party Seller that sells Clearance items from Bed, Bath & Beyond. I saw excellent prices for many items I wanted for myself and for family and friends, so I purchased multiple orders to send to their homes and to mine and to my PO Box. I received confirmation e-mails stating confirmation of my purchased items and it also states they will notify me when my items have been shipped. It's been since July 9th and I have not heard anything from them. When I try to go to their website: http://www.prudencei.shop to contact them, I can no longer open their website. I did save several e-mails from them which are from: [email protected] & I tried to e-mail their other listed e-mail ([email protected]) , but no e-mails go through to that e-mail address. I have sent multiple e-mails since July and I have not heard anything from them. I saved all of my sent e-mails as well. If you need them, let me know. Hopefully someone smart enough can track down their personal laptops/computers they are sending that information from. There are people that smart so I know you can find them. I have not called my bank yet, which I probably should to see if there's any way I can get my $ back. I'm not sure exactly how much I spent, but it's probably over $700 or $800. I bought several hundred dollars for myself and for my mom as gifts and spent for several other of my friends and aunts. I am upset about this. Please catch these people...all of them. Please let me know when you do. Please help me get my $ back. Thanks for all you can do. -Jeannene Grace Burns P.S. I read online of other people being scammed by them & Antispyware.com lists people who shared their scammed experiences by these scammers.

I figured if they didn't respond within a month and a half, that they were most likely scammers. I figured items may be shipped from China and it takes some companies a month and a half to deliver items from there which I have purchased from other companies.

I also reported this on the Federal Trade Commission's website, but they do not help in getting the funds back. I also reported this on the FBI's website. I am looking for your help to track down these bad people and make them pay. Please help immediately. Please e-mail me as soon as you can for an update, and call (leave a voice mail, because I do not pick up numbers I do not have saved in my phone.) & you are welcome to text.

It was a targeted ad to buy discount furniture from Bed,Bath &Beyond- which is going out of business. I ordered furniture using credit card. As soon as items "shipped" I got a tracking email, was charged the 39.99 and then had mysterious charges of 4000 and 3700 try to charge to my same credit card..those charges were detected by fraud department and we're never charged to me. So 30+ days later, tracking shows it's finally delivered but didn't come to me. Their support desk doesn't ever answer calls or emails.. so just out the $39.99. just don't want others to get scammed too!

Made multiple purchases from what I thought was Bed Bath and Beyond. When nothing was shipped I Googled Bed Bath and Beyond scams. Turns out I was scammed by Briadn.com which has a website using all of Bed Bath and Beyond's information including their logo and headings. Site looks very legitimate. I do not know what Country, State or Zip they are from. https://malwaretips.com/blogs/briadn-com/
