Same thing here. Elliot Jose used 3 credit cards to pay for a product we sell to ship to Cook Islands. We are afraid it is a scam. We are to send money to a shipper via a private bank account at a credit union in Michigan. The shipper is world wide courier with no website and the address on the fake looking invoice when looked at on google earth doesn’t make sense. He calls his company Paradise Supply. I emailed the Paradise Supply that exits on the Cook Islands and was informed that the address he gives for Paradise Supply does not exit and that we should probably consider the credit cards stolen. So we have money in our bank account that will probably be charged back when someone discovers that their card numbers were used.

This *smells* definitely of a scam but I don't have proof. This appears to be a variant of 'yes I will prepay but vendor is to prepay the shipping'

Listed individual 'Elliot Jose' filled out inquiry on our company website inquiring about unspecified product and whether could ship to Cook Islands.

After direct follow up via email, received call and quoted requested product with shipping info and customer stated would coordinate shipping costs through DHL Worldwide Courier. After quoted received immediate sale commitement (also sketchy) with high dollar next day air amount to add to invoice (This is where I started to smell a rat). Received quote for shipping from supposed 'DHL Worldwide Courier' with large 2-day air shipping cost, but through this email: [email protected]. Contacted dhl worldwide directly but they were not aware of that full name (with courier). I requested a reference to website from that email and low and behold 'website is down/under construction'. Go figure.

SINCE I DID NOT PROCEED AND DO NOT PLAN TO, THE SCAN REALLY NEVER MATERIALIZED SO AGAIN, THIS COULD BE LEGIT BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY PROBLEMS.
