I received a phonecall on the main incoming line at my place of employment, someone claiming to be from the "Manitoba ScamPulse.com." The called wanted to verify if our "business had found a new location to move into or if we were still looking. "

I get one of these calls, pretty much every 3 or 4 weeks. I would expect that as the company I work for is accredited with the BBB, that this sort of information would be on file, so I tell the caller that, and refrain from giving out any information to the caller. Today the caller called right back and insisted that they were legit, and when I asked to speak to their supervisor about the number of calls we were receiving with requests for this information, I was told that the person IS the supervisor, and when I pressed that they should be more concerned that someone was using the ScamPulse.com name for scams, they hung up the phone.
