My boyfriend received a text message from an individual named Deb Heinen in regards to a “Remote Customer Service Rep/ Administrative Assistant/ Data Entry” position. My boyfriend was also required to download Microsoft Teams to take part in the interview. The whole interview was through text messages. The interview was conducted by an individual named Loren Larson. They also allowed him to pick the position he wanted, which was kinda odd. One of the questions asked was “What bank do you use?”, luckily my boyfriend didn’t give them that information. Within minutes of conducting the interview, he was offered the job. The job offer text also included a lot of grammar errors. At this point he knew it was a scam and did not take the job.
