Our driver contacted our company owner who then called the Auto Works Towing owner and said let us pay something reasonable. The owner said, "No pay it or we're impounding it, the cops are on the way." He had his driver block our truck from moving. Cops showed up.
When our owner said, "You mean you are going to screw me over while my truck is stranded on the highway?"
Their owner said, "Yep, I am."
We were taken advantage of with price gauging.
My owner is a business man who begrudges NO ONE from making a profit on services rendered, but we ask a fair price for fair work and we were definitely taken advantage of.
