Job was listed on Indeed. I contacted the listing through indeed. They sent me an email asking me to reach out to HR through the Telegram app. It was to be a work from home clerical position. They wanted to write me a check that I printed out for me to purchase all the programs that they specifically use. The list was extensive. I was to purchase specifically through the vender they requested. I wasn’t given the vendor name yet. I called the ScamPulse.com in Florida and James Harvey is not in the database as an insurance agent. The whole thing feels sketchy. I am unsure to how far this scam will go, but eventually it will come down to them asking for my personal information to put me in the HR system.

A job listing was posted on Indeed for a remote position for Townscape Realty AKA Townscape Real Estate Company. Through the job description, I was prompted to send a copy of my resumé to an HR representative via email. My resumé has my full name, email, phone number, and home address listed. I received a response further explaining the job duties and compensation. Cautious of scams, I searched the name of the company on the ScamPulse.com website and could not find any results. I then googled the business name, email, phone number, and address and again, found no results associated with this company name.
