Fourteen minutes later, at 11:36 a.m. central time today, March 15, I get another phone call. This time the number was 347-633-7169 claiming to be the supervisor of this LaTonya or whatever. At this point I was not in the mood to collect names so I did not recall who I talked to by name. She went into more details. She said the package contained my current home address, but was sent from an address in New York (she would not tell me where) and was sent on an overnight delivery on March 7. My questions to her led to me getting the address being 240 South Street NE, Washington DC 20002. She also said that the US Postal Service had sent me a letter explaining the violation and what needed to be done to rectify the situation. I told her 4 times I never received any such letter. I don't even know anyone in Washington DC, let alone I do not personally know anyone in New York. She proceeded to tell me that it contained an item that was a felony to send that was part of a "toolbox". I listened to her ramble until she got to the point of threatening me that she was turning the case over to the FBI for prosecution. I told her to do what she needed to do. I have not sent any packages on March 7 and I do not even use overnight delivery for my own family. I have checked my personal bank accounts and credit cards for a fraudulent purchase and cannot find any. This leads me to believe this is a complete scam.
