Then when the receipt for the purchase came, the associated e-mail from the company was a hotmail account. That's when I suspected this was a scam.
I searched on-line for similar scams and saw a report by Fox News describing exactly what I saw on Facebook. The news report said that the USPS does not discount their stamps and that the companies send counterfeit stamps.
