Type of a scam Employment
The job advertisement does not make it clear that it is only a training program, instead implying that it is an actual job opportunity.
The website then directs you to apply, requiring your legal name, email address, zip code, phone number, and bank information, charging $39 to take an exam, with a promise that the fee is fully refundable if you aren’t hired by USPS.
Upon further inspection, there are no legitimate postal service jobs available in my area, despite their claims. While the fine print on their website and in their “Now Hiring” paragraph states that they are not affiliated with the USPS, I believe this is a fraudulent website designed to confuse vulnerable people into purchasing their product or to scam people out of their money and personal information.
The ad and the website’s design are intentionally deceptive, creating the false impression that they are a part of the official hiring process of the USPS or affiliated with the USPS. It misleads job seekers into believing that paying the fee and providing their personal information is necessary for applying to USPS positions, potentially exposing prospective job applicants to fraud/theft.
