Today April 21,2021 I received by priority mail 2 day shipping,
An instruction letter, telling me what, when and how to handle the two fake certified. Becks that they had included. One check for 3450.00$ & the second one for 2450.00$, supposedly drawn from Colombia state bank.
They both state , purchased by: Michelle Wilson- carver, to pay the sum amount of money to the order of my name.
In this letter it states for me to text "letter. Received - Agent 2002" To (732)228-4150 on receipt of this package.
Then a step by step procedure:. 7 things I was to do.
Then it told me once I deposited each check to text deposit-20200 , the. I was to text store 1 completed, then to take pics. Of back code or pins on each nike gift card and send it to them via text. Then text extra bonus to them to receive the extra money bonus .
Then they gave me a list of 4 things to check for at the next store and to send the report to them at their email address they included. I was told to go to 6 different stores and I was to get gift cards at each of these locations plus I was to send $ 50 to the american cancer society as a donation. This pisses me of extremely since both my mom and my dad are fighting cancer at this moment. My mom has recently been sent home with hospice care and 6 months left of her life!, And my dad has been fighting cancer for several years now, we get it shrunk down and element just for it to come back in some other place.!.
I knew once I opened this stupid envelope and pulled the contents out that is was a scam. No company will send this kind of crap to you period.
I really do hope and pray that people will see these posts or hear about these scams way before it happens to anyone else And maybe just maybe this will help to keep them from calling prey to these scams.
These scammers are [censored], and nothing more!

I just received these same checks and scam. The post office caught it for me because they required COD which is rare anymore and also the label looked real but wasn’t. These people need to go to jail for sending these scams to people. I do my research but I know a lot of people who would take this seriously. It’s awful to do this. I returned it to sender.

I hope they people get caught for things like this which is the second time. Actually, when some one told me about this envelope I thought to myself oh another scam it is not real.

This letter ended up in my box. I tried to cash it but the guy took the check and stamped VOID across the middle of it. I am so sad that people actually do things like make people believe they are getting real money. Especially for ones that are less of funds that is all bad.
