Type of a scam Employment
During this time my grandmother passed away. I never completed the paperwork... yet, posters were mailed to my address taken from the job application.
When I returned to FL after my grandmother's funeral, I found the posters and was initially confused as to why a company would send me merchandise without following the instructions and filling out their requested documents. I was also concerned that the package that contained the posters did not have a single sheet of paper with instructions, requirements, a welcome new hire letter, absolutely Nothing accept for the posters.
I then called Scott, who was at at that time taking my calls- I explained to him that I just returned from my grandmother's funeral in Texas. he stated that there he had a deadline and that I needed to hang the posters around my city without completing the new hire paperwork.
I did so, by taking time away from my family, spending money on gasoline and tolls as well as spending several hours and days soliciting local businesses to hang the posters, all the while with zero data to provide that would explain any details of the adverts whatsoever.
Upon hanging all 70 posters and taking 140 pictures displaying the poster as well as the exterior of the businesses I was told to upload them to drop box and that check would be sent out to me in two weeks for $300. It never arrived.
After patiently waiting only to receive nothing, I called the Seattle office to find out what was going on with my paycheck and to request that they never send me anymore promotional items without my consent. At that point I was told, that they were unable to process my paycheck because I'd never filled out the new hire paperwork, and that they would not send my check unless I provided my social security number in addition to all of my personal data.
Much to my chagrin, my children and I NEEDED that paycheck, so I filled out all of the data that they suddenly needed after the work was completed and submitted via dropbox.
It is now October and I have not received a single penny.
Poster Giant no longer accepts my telephone calls, nor responds to any of my emails. This morning I left a message informing them that they've left me no choice but to report them. Hurricane Matthew is on the way to where my children and I live in FL- we do not have any funds for supplies, or gasoline to evacuate.
Please stop this company from scamming other individuals on a national scale.
