All 3 people had a Indian/Pakistan type of accent. Their names were all reflections of my same suspicion. And like everyone else they asked me to pay $1.95 for the shipping and activation. So I told him that just like EVERY other credit and or debit card I have ever owned gets activated when I RECEIVE it. I am not paying you jack [censored] for a card I do not have in my possession or can even see for that matter. Do I sound like I just fell off of a turnip truck?
***PLEASE I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY...but why is it that all of these types of scams seem to come from the same "area." I have watched videos done by people who seem to have exceptional talent with computers, hacking etc. It was very funny. Somehow he was able to tap into the scammers computer camera. So while they were speaking to him on the phone he was watching them. He was also able to make his voice go over the computers speaker. So when they tried to hang up on him they couldn't. When they realized that he could see them they were ducking under the desk and trying to cover the camera lens. Pretty comical stuff. And they too clearly lived in a warm and sandy location (other than the Bahamas etc.)
I have to say that this whole thing really saddens me. The whole world has been 1 big hot mess for a long time now. We have ALL suffered terribly. Whether it was emotionally, physically or financially. Mostly financially! It is sad that has driven many people to come up with scams like these. As if there wasn't enough scams and deceit in this world already. They have to go and kick people when they are down. Dirtbags. It REALLY comes down to the old adage...If it seems too good to be true...it usually IS! Keep your $ safe people's and have a Happy Holiday season!
