The scammers promised us a loan. They said we had been pre-approved for a business loan. It went from pre-approved to approved. They said we had to pay $3600 to get the inspection done on the property. I said there isn't any inspection that is that expensive. Shane proceeded to say they had to fly the guy in from California so it was more expensive. He said if we didn't pay and get the process moving we would lose the loan. There was pressure on to meet this time line. We said we wanted our money back if they backed out because we have been to that point before and the "Lenders" backed out. The difference with the other one is they didn't require any money. Shane said he would be able to get at least half back if it fell through the pressure to pay was put on again reitterating the fact that if we didn't pay we would lose the loan. Right after we paid we got a local call from an inspector that was from 45 minutes away. There is lie Number twenty by this point. Then, they claim the inspectors price on the property was way lower than the actual appraisal we had done on the property by a licensed appraiser. Inspectors only inspect they don't appraise. Instantly that was another lie. Then, they offered us a bigger loan, but we were going to have to pay more money to get more "inspections" We said no. Then, a day or two later they came back and said no they were not going to fund the loan.
