The scammer reach out to me via text message on a job offer from +1 (682) 208-9792 claiming to be Ashley Harper. She asked me to download this messaging ap called Microsoft team. I had an interview with Richard freeman for a remote position questions seemed normal until they wanted to send a check for equipment. They told they would send the equipment at first than wanted to send a check for the equipment. My bank was taking a while to approve of the check. Which I found odd they than ask me to send them money which I found odd. I told them I was uncomfortable with that. Than asked me to purchase the equipment and send to these addresses.

I didn’t send any items at all but they got my address , my social birth certificate and passport id.
