After securing auto insurance with The Hartford/AARP I received an unsolicited communication via USPS from PPGInsuranceAgeny.com including bogus State Insurance ID Cards. Quote: "You must call NOW to activate your cards for the protection of your vehicles to be valid. No other notice will be sent regarding this lapse of protection." Upon calling them (888-420-7124), the responder refused to reveal from whom he had obtained personal details concerning my vehicle and my home.
