When submitting an internet search, this site appears legitimate and requests personal information (name, employer, address, birthdate) to apply for TSA Precheck. The website charged $149.95 under the name of "WorldTravelAssist." TSA only charges $85 when you are on-site for the personal interview. This "organization" uses the personal information provided to complete the real application, therefore the recipient receives legitimate confirmation from Universal Enrollment. I would not have known that this was a scam until I inquired about the "pre-enrollment fee" with the TSA representative at my appointment. TSA does not charge for an application fee.

This website comes up in online searches for TSA Precheck. It appears legitimate and takes information to apply for TSA Precheck, but it is not sanctioned by the TSA which doesn't charge an application fee. TSA only charges $85 when you set up your in person interview. This website charged $149.95.

I wanted to apply for TSA preflight checkin. I googled TSA preflight and this was the first website that popped up. So I applied for a pre-check interview and started the application process. I didn't realize it wasn't the government website until after I filled out the application and used my credit card to pay the 'fee'. They have my name, address, physical description, phone #, email and credit card information.

There isn't an address or phone # listed for the website.
