First snag: the payment was originally to made through a popular money transfer app, that associates with major banks. My sister's bank is a credit union, and doesn't have a relationship with the transfer company. This meant that she couldn't send them the full amount. So, they told her that she needed to get a money order from Walmart, for the remainder of the price of the dog.
After sending this, she gets another call from the company saying that they needed $1500? for flight insurance for the dog. She heads down to Walmart to get ANOTHER money order to purchase this insurance, that was guaranteed to be 95% reimbursed. THEN she gets ANOTHER call telling her that she needed to send money ($1200!)to rent a heating pad, because it's colder in Washington than Texas, and the dog can't afford to get too cold during the flight, and delivery. Not being able to afford another $1200, her husband insisted on a full refund for all of the money that they had sent so far, and have yet to receive a response from the company.
