We found a basset hound puppy on the website www.preciousbasset.com and filled out the contact us about Blaze. They were emailing back at normal respond times, answering all the questions. After many emails about payment and pick up, we sent a deposit via Zelle (which we are disputing). We said we would be leaving in the morning to come down to get him. My husband got there at the address and no one was home, but the homeowner spoke on his ring camera and said he knew nothing about Basset Hounds and this had never happened before. We tried to get ahold of them after he was there, to no avail. We did get one email back that asked if my husband was in TX, but when we asked for a phone number or for them to call, nothing. My mother in law also planned to get a dog, she also lost $400.
