I wanted to get a Shiba Inu puppy and my husband was searching online as there are no local breeders or rescues with Shiba’s nearby. He came across Japanese shibainupuppies.com and contacted them through the website and the responded to him via text ( unfortunately I didn’t save the phone number). They tried to get us to send them the money via cashapp and it was denied as possible fraud. The seller kept being really pushy and things felt weird so I asked for recent pictures of the pup and a video and pictures of the parents. They couldn’t send me a video and the picture of the parents seemed off. I decided to back out as things didn’t feel right. They managed to get $20 of the $850 they were asking from us through cash app (we tried to do the sends in smaller amounts). I’m glad I went with my gut because they have now changed the website name to preciousshibainupuppies.online

They are using the same images of puppies ages and names for the pups. The webpage is laid out exactly the same the only thing that is different is the new name of the website. The original scam took place in September.
