received an offer of a 'free android tablet' in exchange for participating in a marketing survey. found out this has been documented as a scam. I did not participate, contacted the ftc and bbb to report.

I received a letter in the mail on March 3rd, 2016, that stated I could receive a free Android Tablet Computer if I participated in their market study and promotion. I would have to pick up the tablet myself.

The letter says nothing of what the promotion is. It included the survey of the tablet only.

The letter head was from Preferred Access Ohio, at 5005 Rockside Rd, suite 925, Independence, OH 44131 (888)441-2957.

I only knew this was a "travel/vacation" type of scam, because of checking the ScamPulse.com on the internet.

Just reporting another incident of the preferred access ohio free android tablet offer. Just as described in the ScamPulse.com article from Feb 2015 Phone 888-441-2957. Letter included cover letter and a survey sheet.

A letter saying they want to give me an Android Tablet for free just for doing a survey, and even if I don't do it. Came with the letter and a survey paper to be filled out and returned to them. Envelope is postmarked from Texas, but the address inside the letter company is from Ohio.

Received a letter on 12/2/2015 from Preferred Access Ohio, 5005 Rockside Rd. Suite 925, Independence, Ohio. (888)441-2957. Stephanie Grecco, Coordinator of Product Research, www.preferredaccessohio.com. She offers a free Android tablet for testing the product and completing a short survey. Its a trick to get you into a high pressure sales presentation.

Preferred Access Ohio. Free android tablet when calling a number. I did read on line that it was a scam, but their address has changed. New address is 5005 Rockside Rd. Independence, Ohio 44131. I did not call or loose any money.

Just wanted to update the new information.
