THey said they worked with the department of education and could have my student loans forgiven. They took thousands of dollars from me and left me even more in debt.

I was told about a program to reduce my student loan by paying $199.00 for six months and then paying only $20 for 240 months to reduce my original student loan by almost $13K. I completed the six months of payments and then started getting notices from FedLoan.com and NelNet (legitimate government run student loan programs) about re-consolidating my original loan. I apparently have been swindled out of $1200 and must now stop automatic payments from my credit card. I have turned these folks in to authorities and will call the FBI in due time.

I have been getting a lot of phone calls lately from random numbers with the same area code as I have, but locations showing up that I know are not within that area code. I've started getting these calls almost daily even when I've tried to state that I do not want to receive calls. It is always an automated recording that comes on when I pick up about this being my last chance to consolidate my Federal Student Loans. They asked me to verify my name, phone number, and email address and refused to tell me any of the information that they supposedly already had. They state directly to me, when specifically asked, that they are working with the US Department of Education. I refused to let them reset the password to my Federal Loan information online. I finally was able to get the guy to tell me what company it was he was working with and he even said I could look them up on the BBB. When I tried to respond to this that I would look them up before I gave any information, I was hung up on. Less than 10 minutes later I received another phone call with the same message and when I tried to speak to a person I was hung up on.

HELLO IM TAKING THIS TIME TO EDUCATE THE SCAMMER AND THE SCAMMED .. I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE SAYING "CALL ME TO HELP LOWER YOUR STUDENT LOANS" BEING THAT I PUT MYSELF ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY I WAS CURIOUS AS TO HOW AND WHO THIS MESSAGE CAME FROM .. SO I CALLED THE NUMBER AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE " PREMIER STUDENT LOAN CENTER AND THAT I COULD LOOK THEM UP ON BBB.ORG SO I CONTINUED TO DO SO AND THE NUMBER ON THE ScamPulse.com WEBSITE DID NOT MATCH THE NUMBER I HAD RECEIVED ..SO I CALLED THAT NUMBER ON ScamPulse.com AND THEY STATED THEY HAD NO CONNECTION . SO I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND ASKED WHO THERE EMPLOYER WAS AND I WAS TOLD "*** *** .COM"

AFTER THAT I DECIDED TO CALL AGAIN BECAUSE THEY HANG UP ON ME EVERY TIME I ASK WHO THERE EMPLOYER IS . SO WHEN I CALL AGAIN I AM TOLD THIS TIME TO GET A LIFE AND ITS *** *** .COM .. I WAS TOLD NUMEROUS TIMES THAT THIS WAS A GOVERNMENT PROGRAM . I CALL BACK AND CONTINUE TO GET NO WHERE WITH WHO EXACTLY THEY ARE AND HOW THEY OBTAINED MY NUMBER .. THE CATCH TO ALL OF THIS AND AS TO WHY IM UPSET IS BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD A STUDENT LOAN OF ANY KIND .. SO COULD SOMEONE FROM THIS " GOVERNMENT PROGRAM" PLEASE SIMPLY EXPLAIN HOW THEY GOT MY INFORMATION AND WHY I WAS CONTACTED. ESPECIALLY BEING THAT IM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY . I WILL NOW BE REACHING OUT TO MY LOCAL NEWS STATION FOR SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE TO THIS MATTER .THANK YOU IN ADVANCE AND SORRY TO THE TRUE BUSINESS OWNER FOR THIS REPORT . I HOPE PREMIER STUDENT LOAN SERVICES IS FREE OF ANY CLAIMS AND THAT THE COMPANY / 3RD PARTY WHO WAS HIRED IS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THERE EMPLOYEES WHO SHAMED WHAT TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOUT.
