My 84 year old mother was scammed by Premium Tech Support/Premium CFZ. Phone #s 8556750090 and 855-675-0086. They claimed that her computer had been hacked by multiple people (Facebook in particular). She gave them complete access to her internet - they saw everything on her computer. Told her it would cost several hundred to a thousand dollars and that she would get "lifetime protection." She gave them her credit card but they claims a glitch in their system didn't allow them to run it. They had her on the phone and searching her computed for 2 to 3 hours! Afterwards, she called me. I expressed my concern and then she took action - we have since cancelled ALL credit cards, put freezes on her credit and have taken her computer to the Geeks to be wiped clean and everything reinstalled. We turned off her WiFi to disrupt connection and hope that all has been stopped. NOW these crooks call constantly to get a new credit card number, since the one she gave them no longer works. She does not pick up the phone. In checking around this is a LONG-TERM SCAMMER -- a huge problem!
