I was searching for a puppy after just losing my loving companion of three years. I found one on this site and got in contact. They then responded over text and then sent me to WhatsApp after I asked for for pictures or videos. They sent videos over WhatsApp. I was still skeptical with hopeful. After they reassured me I ended up making the payment. They said the puppy’s paperwork was switched over in my name and a pet courier would escort the dog and deliver it to me. The next day I didn’t hear anything from them and messaged them about when the puppy would arrive. (They now have my home address and my email due to the “delivery”).They told me he was scheduled to arrive the next day. And then they told me that in order for him to fly in the plane cargo that I had to have him in a crate. They gave me three options to choose from. Which I had to pay for, but upon delivery would be reimbursed 100%. These cages were $1,000; $1,500; or $2,500. I then did more research before I sent them any more money because it didn’t sound right. Turns out the “website” the pet shippers had was Russian. Which it definitely doesn’t look like at first glance. If you’re just browsing the website it looks legit. But the customer testimonies are bogus. So I created an account, and on that account I had 0 items in my cart (because apparently you can purchase items, with no pictures and hilariously obvious fake descriptions) with a total of $0 but somehow a subtotal of $35. I just made this account on this bogus website on January 5th of 2020 to see if it was legit, and this $35 was supposedly put on hold in 2017.
