Called a local electrician with good reviews in January 2024. Was upsold on “Premium Home Service” membership for $99 to have faster service and discounts throughout the year. Had a problem with our HVAC in July 2024, and the company was completely unresponsive. Used their app to book service. Didn’t hear from them. Used the help section to call them so we could get an estimated response time to have a service call. Was told I would get a call that night. I heard nothing. Five days later, they called me twice in two hours, left two messages and marked my job “complete” without speaking with me. When I called to complain, phone numbers on their website did not not work. I finally spoke to a person who told me that this was “normal” for them. He then tried to tell me a technician called me and marked that I was unresponsive. This is a lie. I have zero voicemail messages from them - until today. It took me about 1-2 hours to call them back because it’s a work day. When I told him I was upset that we paid for a service that they did not uphold, he hung up on me. Premium Home Service stole $99 from us and are not upholding the services they promised us for the money. I am disputing the charge on my Amex today. Do not do business with Premium Home Services.
