“I agree” multiple times. I called my employer and asked about the free service. My employer did not hire any outside service to offer these free benefits so my employer contacted our insurance carrier CDPHP. CDPHP said they had not hired any outside service for any additional benefits. An insurance agent tracked the phone # of the caller to a home base in Willamstown, NY. The Insurance company as well as my employer said they did not hire any outside service and suggested I contact the Better Business Bureau and the insurance fraud department.
The scammer had my name, phone number, address, birthdate, CDPHP medical # and pharmacy information but was searching for my prescription# on my CDPHP card. The caller asked me to find my card information and would be calling me on Friday 07/24/2020 after 5pm for it.
