On Wednesday, we were notified by the transport company, Petsway.US that we had to rent a different kennel in the amount of $979.00 because the puppy was so small and needed a well controlled environment. At this time we started getting very suspicious and we talked Mr. Lessard into footing $400.00 of this bill. When we went to Walmart, again to make the revised payment of $579.00, a lovely lady started asking questions and when she discovered that this was for a Chihuahua, she mentioned that the day before she had worked with a woman who had been scammed for $1500.00 for a white Chihuahua. She called corporate office, and was instructed to check our previous money gram and refund the $550.00 if it was still available. Unfortunately the money had been picked up. We chose to not pay the $579.00 and Mr. Lessard called us several times to encourage us to pay the $579.00 that evening. When my husband instructed him to send the puppy and we would pay then, Mr. Lessard hung up on him.
