The TSA representative that I worked with to obtain TSA Pre-Check informed me that companies like the one mentioned in the report are a scam. They fool people into thinking that they need professional services in order to submit an application for Pre-Check to the TSA. This is completely false. They charge the consumer $149.95 for simply submitting an application to the TSA for the user, even though it's the very same application you can submit FOR FREE directly with the TSA. They are adding ZERO value to the application process, but charging a hefty sum for it. In my opinion, this makes it a scam. They are charging but providing no real service or product in exchange. There is no contact info at all on their website.
