Long story short, PLT has been receiving orders on their e-commerce site and never sending girls the products. Aside from this, when people do actually receive their products but want to return them, PLT refuses to send them a refund, despite their return policy.
I thought I was the only one facing issues with the company, but when I turned to their Instagram accounts--@prettylittlething and @prettylittlethingcs for customer service inquiries--I realized that I was 1 of 100s of girls.
Not only is PRETTYLITTLETHING charging people for products they only follow through with approx. 30% of the time, but they are also blatantly lying about what shipping company they use. PLT claims to use DHL shipping, but they very clearly do not.
How do I know this? Well, if you go to www.dhl.com you can type in a valid shipping number and the website will track it for you. The number I was given by PRETTYLITTLETHING is "GM600104466010008264" and when you copy and paste this number onto the DHL site, it says the number is invalid. Try it for yourself!
The company has a very peculiar means of contacting customer service. The only way you are able to contact PRETTYLITTLETHING is through email or Instagram DM. There is no phone number to be found.
Lots of girls have tried these methods, only to be responded to with a robotic, automated Instagram comment telling them to send the company a DM on Instagram so they can address the issue.
The amount of money the company has racked up in fraudulent orders and refunds that were never given is likely in the 100,000s. Though I as a nearly-21-year-old college student cannot afford to take this issue to court, and would probably not be taken seriously if I did, if it gets enough attention, the company could face some back lash.
This is 100% an Internet scam, and because the demographic they try to reach with their clothes is so young, a lot of women who order from this company--including myself--don't realize it until after the fact. This company needs to be taken down, because they are stealing, lying, and breaking the law by not fulfilling their return policy, which they have in writing on their very own website.
This is a link to a petition you can sign to show support for getting the site taken down, as well as voice your reasons for signing. I highly suggest you not only sign, but post your reason for signing, so we can accumulate as much proof as possible that the company is fraudulent. If you feel comfortable, include the order number as well as how much you paid so we can determine just how much money this company has stolen.
