I called Priceline support line to cash in refund for cancelled ticket. I was told they couldn't help me because I didn't have my flight number that was cancelled. Then I received a call back from 1-801-877-2024 advising they have a promotion they can use but they needed me to purchase a Priceline, Southwest or Apple gift card to access the promotion. I thought it was questionable but purchased the gift card and provided the number. They repeatedly advised me they were with Priceline, despite having introduced themselves as Airline Desk Safe Travel. After they got the card info, they advised I gave the wrong type of card, instead of a personal card. They needed me to go to get another card and specify personal only, then after providing that to them they could reimburse me both cards to give me the flight credit. I asked repeatedly for their supervisor and then after they started yelling at me, I hung up and reported them. I later contacted Priceline who advised they had no contact with me since February when I cancelled my flight due to illness.
