While doing google search for Akita puppies, found www.prideakitas.com. Sent them a message thru website inquiring about one of the puppies. Shortly thereafter, received an email response, advising the puppy was still available. Further, provided detailed information about the puppy’s upbringing, health, and a list of what would come with her upon purchase. Advised the cost was $699 and that they were located at 3312 Griggs Avenue, Forth Worth, Texas 76119, and we were welcome to visit their home and pick up the puppy in person. Noted parents were on site and we could see them when we picked up the puppy. Also told they had fast shipping via United Airlines, and actually had one free shipping coupon left that could be used for our little baby. It was noted they were willing to provide references of served and satisfied customers and then went on to describe payment, either using Zelle, Google Pay, or cash when we came to pick her up. The last portion of the email were questions relating to whether we wanted to pick her up or have her shipped; the type of environment in which the Akita would be living and if we had prior experience with an Akita; and lastly, when we would be ready to get the puppy if they decided to sell to us. After reviewing their email, I responded and noted we were very interested in the puppy and the free shipping coupon and that we had prior experience with an Akita and a suitable environment. Several days passed and we hadn’t heard anything, so I sent a text to John at (682)214-8085. He responded and stated an email had been sent to me. I checked and there was in fact an email stating they had received my email and found our responses satisfactory and that they had one last shipping coupon that could be used. Attached was a copy of a contract and information regarding shipping. Once again, detailed information was provided about google pay and Zelle pay and it stated once we had one or the other set up for payment, we could let them know and they would email corresponding payment information. Exchanged several text messages regarding payment and eventually set up payment thru Google Pay. Returned “Contract” with minimal contact with John once he was made aware payment had been set up. He subsequently provided the following as his Google Pay email address: [email protected]. Needless to say, we sent him $700 and our little baby was never delivered and there has been no further communication.

Pride Akitas's is a fake website selling AKC registered Akita puppies for $699.00, not including shipping and handling.

I was in contact with them and their "leader" "John Trenor" for two weeks by an email [email protected] they seemed so helpful and genuine but after the first week, they kept putting on the pressure that other parties were interested in the puppy I was looking at. I finally caved in and sent the money, after sending the money, I only heard that the money was confirmed to have been sent, and the puppy was mine. They gave me an address to go to 3312 Griggs ave. Fort Worth TX 776119 I drove out 4 hours there and back to be met with a heartbreaking reality that the address belonged to some random family possibly caught in the crossfire.

A person going by the name John Trayvon created a fake site to sell non-existing Akitas. After doing research he had several other sites, all closed down.

They are Offering Akitas for sale and the whole thing seems fishy. The AKC does not recognize them, they do not state their last name, and will only respond if you are shipping the puppies. If you state that you want to pick them up they do not respond. They only communicate via email and will not answer the phone. If you state you want the puppy shipped they will give you an email to send a google payment too and that email pops up on several scam sites. The payment email is what I entered above. The email they correspond through is [email protected]
