I got a text from what supposedly was my mortgage company. The text said I was in default and he had a relief program that came from covid and he could reduce my payment by $250. He needed payment today for Feb and a payment on 3-1 and 4-1 to finish the trial period and starting in May would be back to normal. Payment is only accepted by a money order by mail or payment at Walmart. It was all a scam and I fell for it but did not pay any money. I called the guy back and gave him a few choice words
