I canceled less than minute later, said I should of read offer better. Offer was only up for 30 seconds

I received an email from cartsavings.com for a prizehut.com sweepstakes for an ice machine, if i answered a survey and sent 1.95. And suddenly I'm "signed up" for a 90$ magazine subscription and no word on the contest I meant to enter. I called 800-294-4809 to cancel the subscription quickly, and was only able to receive half my money back from them! This is a scam.
