UNSAFE WEBSITE-PHISHING SCAM-FRAUD. This company claims to provide financial compensation for participating in market research. Many people now use a VPN service to protect their devices and information online. Prizerebel allows registration which gathers a great deal of personal information without first disclosing in a prominent and clear manner that you must be disconnected from your VPN. They take your personal information, allow you to fill out profiles, only to tell you you have been blocked when you reach your first "custom" survey. After logging back in from a sandboxed browser while disconnected from my VPN service, their site attempted several illegal connections to my system using invalid certificates. I had to shut down after this caused a freeze. Once back in I found their site had corrupted my VPN application even though it had not been connected while on their site. I had to restore my system to an earlier point. I tried to log in to cancel my account with them from behind my VPN and was not allowed. Now I cannot find a safe way to sever ties and opt out. This wasted a lot of my time with no compensation.
