On 7/30 I called a surveying company that I thought was in Knoxville TN called Knoxville Land Surveying. The person answering the phone was very nice and said they would do the survey within 30 days. They wanted $463.50 up front. I agreed, signed a contract with Pro17 Engineering, the name on the actual contract and they charged my credit card. After 30 days I could still not get a date scheduled or a call back from the business owner, Keith Maxwell. Shortly there after, I called the number from the Knoxville Land Surveying website and was told that it is now being used by another company. They had no idea of who Pro17 Engineering or Keith Maxwell was. I then found Pro17 Engineering on a different Website and that they were based in Alabama. It has now been over 2 1/2 months. Mr. Maxwell will not return any of my messages. I actually used a co-workers phone who is from Huntsville, AL about 2 weeks ago. He did answer that phone call and promised to refund me. Has been 2 weeks and now I just leave messages. No refund or return call. I looked up his name on the internet today and I see he is now associated with 3 websites, Pro17 Engineering, 3D Laser Scanning Network and Madison Land Surveying. They all give different phone numbers for Keith Maxwell.
