I agreed for a new bathtub install, after demolition, on the day of installation I was told he couldn't make it happen. The workmanship displayed throughout the project, particularly the shower, tile and floor, is of poor quality. Despite my concerns and requests for corrections, he requested more money and failed to address the issues adequately. He insisted I pay the balance in full.
When I requested an updated invoice, Darian then claimed the work was off the books and not through the actual business, raising ethical and legal concerns. Despite attempts to contact for resolution and license verification, he blocked communication, never returning to my home. Legal action was initiated, prompting Darian to send derogatory messages and post defamatory lies on my employer's Google review page.
This experience underscores the importance of due diligence when hiring for home remodeling projects. I caution others to be wary of Darian Johnson to avoid similar issues and unethical behavior.
