I was approached about a work from home (301) 941-7617 for an Administrative Assistant position. I interviewed using a web messaging app. They sent me a check to deposit into my account and then purchase my equipment from one of their vendors. I was immediately suspicious and contacted the bank the cashiers check was written on. The bank verified that it was not one of their checks.
